Sengetsu Shuzo is a Kuma Shochu brewery located in Hitoyoshi-city Kumamoto since 1903.  Its flagship brand "Sengetsu" made of artesian water from local limpid Kuma River and high-quality rice is mild and tasty, so very popular with locals of Kuma shochu.  "Sengetsu" meaning the sensitive crescent is also the name of Hitoyoshi Castle.
