Distillery: Mizuho Shuzo Co., LTD. (founded: 1848)
In the distant past, when Okinawa was an independent kingdom, it was the norm to age sake. Even now, this style is considered Okinawa's treasure. In 1969, Mizuho Shuzo purchased the "Tenryuugura" - a 640000 liter underground tank that they use for this purpose. They are proud to be one of the oldest operating Sakagura in Okinawa.
